Squares from your floor plan
We divide living area by stories to get a footprint, add about 10 percent for overhangs and multiply by a pitch factor. One square is 100 sq ft of roof.
Pitch and stories
Steeper roofs have more surface and need safety setup. Two and three story homes add staging time.
Material per square
Each material has an installed price band per square, including underlayment, ice and water shield and ridge vent.
Tear-off layers
